Sew fun!

I don't have any pictures to share, but I've been busy, busy with some sewing projects! I finished up some art smocks for the kids (for Christmas presents!) and I've started on some colored pencil rolls.

The pencil rolls are for the little boy I used to nanny when I was in college. Of course, he's not really little anymore. He's 7! But, he's very into John Deere, so naturally I chose fabric to suit his taste.

I can't wait to show you when it's finished!

Pretty in pink

Here's a non-shimmery tutu I made for a long-time, back again, friend (and by long time, I mean we were friends in Jr. High, dancing in my basement to Steven Curtis Chapman and DC Talk.)

Tinker Bell inspired

This tutu was SO fun to make. I pretty much had free reign to do whatever the heck I wanted. Shimmery tulle, ribbon accents, rhinestones- you name it, I got to choose it!

All sparkles

Show your colors

I was born and raised in Michigan. The only colors there were Maize and Blue (well, for us anyway... some people liked a certain green color combo.) When we moved down to Alabama, we were constantly asked who we supported: Alabama or Auburn. Well, neither, really. *gasp* But, in the spirit of fun and competition, I created these two rival tutus.
I won't tell you that I've had one for almost a year now and the other sold in less then a week. I definitely won't tell you which one, at least. :)

More "early" tutus

These two tutus are bigger in size than most of the ones I make. They still turned out stunning, though.
